In a thirsty attempt to gain attention on social media, candidate Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a poorly lit, 7-minute, unorganized, and embarrassing rant on twitter. The post was in response to Democrats edging closer to delivering on President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda.

Rubio, who Donald Trump refers to as “Little Marco”, used tax payer’s money to produce a smokescreen trolling video that received little to no engagement from Floridians. But soon, his rant was picked up and amplified by The Hill, who punted the video into the feeds of millions of its followers. Media outlets are struggling to compete for the eyes of consumers now that the wanna-be authoritarian dictator no longer occupies the White House. Unfortunately The Hill, which used to be known as a reputable news outlet, dropped to the sunken place in the hopes of attracting likes, shares, and retweets.
Retire Rubio, which frequently trends on Twitter, is the rallying cry heard across all 67 counties of the 3rd most populous state in the union. Sources close to the radical republican candidate think they know why. Officials say he struggles with authentic delivery of Republican talking points. His role is to repeatedly deliver sensationalist claims and to introduce false hot-button cultural issues. But the corrupt conservative nervously delivers the same lines when speaking about literally any issue. As one aid noted, Marco could turn a puppy adoption event into a tirade about marxism. Fellow Republican Chris Christi called out Marco for repeating the same memorized talking points for every question during the 2016 Republican Presidential Primary Debate.
But voters are savvier now. We spot the gaslighting immediately because he is so inauthentic and sloppy in his delivery. We see his coordinated targeted harassment of voters, his collaborative Fox News and Newsmax appearances, and his fascist attempts to sow distrust in our institutions. He has gone full MAGA in his attempt to dismantle American democracy and destroy freedom as we know it. He’s doing it to distract us from his inability to deliver economic freedom for the American people.
But we can change this. By coming together across Florida’s 961 zip-codes, we can elect candidates who put our pockets above politics, our climate above corruption, and our futures above fascism.
